The Neuqua Valley Steel Bands are open to any music students from Neuqua Band, Chorus or Orchestra. There are two bands, Blue and Gold, which rehearse Thursday evenings from October to May. Each ensemble consists of 10-12 pan players and a rhythm section (drumset, electric bass, and aux percussion). Audition info is announced at the beginning of each school year in music classes. The NV Steel Bands perform at a variety of NVHS concerts and other community events.
